1. Corporate information

1.1. In compliance with applicable data protection laws (including, where relevant, Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection, Act 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, and any equivalent legislation in your jurisdiction), PollMint informs users about its data protection practices described in this Policy.

2.1. PollMint complies with the data protection regulations in force and collects only the data strictly necessary to deliver the services derived from its activity and any other services/obligations required by law, reserving the right to use aggregated/anonymized data for statistical research on registered users and Service usage.

2.2. Users entering personal data in any electronic form on the Website are informed and give consent to the incorporation of such data into automated files owned by PollMint.

2.3. Users expressly consent to PollMint processing the data supplied while inquiring about, requesting, or contracting services, for access to information and services provided through the Website, for maintaining contractual relationships, and—if consented—for sending offers or promotional communications (including by electronic means).

2.4. By accepting this Policy, Users undertake to comply with the obligations contained herein while browsing and/or using the Website and acknowledge the scope of the guarantees given by PollMint.

2.5. PollMint undertakes to process personal data in accordance with applicable regulations and to maintain the utmost confidentiality, including by employees or contractors who may access such data.

3. Accuracy of the data provided

3.1. Users state that all data provided are true and correct and undertake to inform PollMint of any changes.

3.2. If Users provide third-party data, PollMint is not responsible for compliance with information and consent principles; Users must guarantee they have previously informed the data subject and obtained consent.

3.3. Supplying data is voluntary; however, failure to provide certain data requested during registration or in electronic forms may prevent access to services that require such data. Where applicable, PollMint will indicate whether data are mandatory/necessary for service operation.

4. Consent to the transfer of personal data

4.1. Some Website contents may be of commercial/advertising interest to third-party advertisers or partners (e.g., offer walls, survey providers). Users expressly authorize PollMint to transfer necessary data to such partners to analyze campaign effects/performance and validate completions/eligibility, solely for the specified purposes.

4.2. Such transfers will be regulated by agreements that specify the purpose and safeguards.

4.3. Except as provided above, PollMint will not disclose personal information to third parties without the User’s explicit consent and will use the data only to provide access to the Service and, if consented, to send commercial communications.

4.4. PollMint will not sell, rent, or transfer personal data for profit, except where necessary to render the Service.

5. User rights

5.1. Users have the right to object to processing not essential to the contractual relationship (e.g., advertising). If not satisfied with the processing described herein, Users may contact PollMint to exercise their right to object.

6.1. The Service may contain links to third-party websites/media over which PollMint has no control. This Policy does not apply to such sites. Activities carried out in connection with linked sites are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, for which PollMint assumes no responsibility.

7. Sending offers and/or communications

7.1. In accordance with Act 34/2002 (and analogous laws), PollMint will send offers or promotional communications by email or equivalent electronic means only to Users who have expressly consented to receive them. By accepting the Website’s Terms and this Policy, Users may authorize PollMint to send communications linked to the Website or to campaigns/activities within it.

7.2. Users may opt out at any time by contacting PollMint as in Clause 5.2, or by following the unsubscribe instructions at the end of our emails.

8. Use of cookies

8.1. A cookie is a small text file stored on the User’s computer or mobile device and retrieved on subsequent visits. There are two types: persistent (stored up to 12 months) and session cookies (deleted when the browser closes).

8.2. Cookies can be removed using browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact important features and functionality of the Website.

8.3. PollMint uses cookies for, e.g.: (i) saving homepage selection; (ii) storing user data when “Remember me” is selected; (iii) maintaining sessions; (iv) product/offer filters.

8.4. Cookies also help identify, segment, and classify usage to guarantee proper operation of tracking and rewards crediting systems, and to improve/simplify visits. Cookies are not used to store personal information for disclosure to third parties.

8.5. Third-party analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) may be used to collect aggregated statistics. Both persistent and session cookies may be used.

8.6. By accepting the Terms and this Policy, the User expressly consents to the use of cookies by PollMint as described in this Clause 8.

9. Use of User’s IP addresses

9.1. Users expressly authorize PollMint to store and use IP addresses to analyze trends and monitor overall application usage. PollMint does not associate IP addresses with personally identifiable information.

10. Modification of the Privacy Policy

10.1. This Policy may be modified at any time due to legislative/jurisprudential changes, regulatory guidance (e.g., national data protection authorities), sector practices, or internal decisions by PollMint. We will provide visible notice of material changes where feasible.

10.2. By continuing to use and browse the Website after changes become effective, Users accept the updated Policy available on the Website homepage.
